AUTUMN VIBES

Eu sei que ainda está imenso calor e que é Verão, mas na verdade já é demais para mim! Simplesmente não consigo lidar com estas temperaturas: além de transpirar imenso, odeio a sensação de calor (por menos roupa que tenha) e de ter as roupas coladas ao corpo. Por isso, já sonho com temperaturas mais baixas e peças mais quentes - é uma sensação bem melhor. Isso sim, é mesmo o que gosto! Aqui fica uma pequena wishlist já a pensar nos dias maravilhosos de Outono. Espero que gostem e tenham um bom fim-de-semana! Beijo

I know it's still super hot and it's Summer and all but in matter of fact I'm so done with this weather! I just can't deal with all this hot: besides I spend the day sweating, I also hate the feeling of heat (even if I'm wearing almost nothing) and the clothes glued to my body. So I'm already dreaming of low temperatures and warm clothes - it's just a way more better sensation. That's what I really like! Macacões sempre foram daquelas peças que eu adoro e uso bem mais que um vestido. Super práticos, confortáveis e mais versáteis do que se pensa, principalmente aqueles que se adaptam a várias estações - como é o caso deste. Mal o vi nos saldos pensei que era a peça ideal e, apesar de ter ficado um pouco na dúvida, quando o usei pela primeira vez soube que não me ia arrepender de o ter comprado e que vou usar e abusar dele. Dungarees and jumpsuits are those kind of pieces I love and wear way more than a dress. Super practical, more comfortable and way more versatile than we think. Specially if it's multi-season like this one. When I first saw it on sales I knew it was it and I'm seriously in love with it and I know I'm gonna wear it a lot. LE BRUNCH

Bom dia! Estas fotos são de Domingo passado, quando decidimos fazer um home made brunch no jardim da Leninha. Preparamos tudo, estendemos a toalha e esvaziamos os pratos. Estava tudo mega delicioso e é uma forma fácil de se tomar o belo brunch de Domingo de uma forma diferente, sem filas de espera e com mais calma. Têm de experimentar! Morning! These pictures are from last Sunday when we decided to have a home made brunch in Lena's garden. We did everything, set the towel and ate it all. It was so delicious and it's an easy way of having that amazing Sunday brunch in a relaxed way, away from the crowd and lines. You have to try it! I would do this every Sunday if I could. Ando a tentar sair da minha zona de conforto e arriscar um pouco mais nas peças e nos conjuntos. Não estou a tentar forçar-me a ser outra pessoa ou a ter um estilo diferente, de todo! Apenas estou à procura de peças diferentes que se encaixem no meu estilo e nos meus gostos. O desafio é, no fundo, usar aquelas peças que estão mais paradas no armário e dar-lhes uma nova vida. I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone and risk a little bit more on the pieces and looks I wear. I'm not forcing myself to be another person or to have a different style, it's not that at all. I'm just finding different pieces that get into my style and tastes. The challenge is, mostly, wear those pieces that are totally forgotten on the closet. That and try not to wear sneakers with everything - I'm getting it. Resumindo e concluindo: não era bem este o look casual que vos tinha falado. Pensei que tinha tudo o que precisava (e queria!) no carro, mas aparentemente esqueci-me de algumas coisas. No entanto, a ideia final era mesmo usar estas calças com estes sapatos - acho que são o par perfeito! O que acham? Este foi um outfit um pouco improvisado com o que tinha (o blazer 'roubei-o' à Lena e tudo), mas ainda vou fotografar o outro que tinha em mente para vos mostrar em breve. Summarizing and concluding: this is not the exact look I wanted to show you. I thought I had everything I needed (and what I want) in the car, but that wasn't the case so I had to improvise with what I had (even the blazer was 'stolen' from Lena). However, the whole idea was actually to show you the pants with these shoes, I think they're the perfect match! What do you think?
