WEEKEND MODE

Totalmente preparada para o fim-de-semana e tudo o que me apetecia fazer era vestir uma roupa confortável, mas fancy, e sair para explorar a cidade, comer um gelado e aproveitar. Infelizmente os planos são outros, vai ser um fim-de-semana de loucos! Amanhã vou, juntamente com a Helena e a Marta, estar a vender algumas coisas que já não uso no Flea Market que vai haver no Jardim de São Lázaro, por isso se forem do Porto dêem lá um saltinho, é das 14h às 19h. Weekend ready and all I wanna do is put some comfortable but kinda fancy outfit and go out to explore the city, grab some ice cream and just enjoy. Unfortunately, the plans are not those, but it's gonna be a crazy weekend! Tomorrow I'll be in a flea market selling some clothes I don't wear anymore and on Sunday I have two birthday parties. CULOTTES KINDA DAY

Tenho tentado sair um pouco da minha zona de conforto (aka jeans + tee) e apostado em peças diferentes e que, à primeira vista, não me ficariam tão bem quanto isso, mas que, na verdade, até ficam bastante bem. É o caso destas culottes. Andava, sem exagero, há cerca de meio ano a tentar encontrar um modelo que gostasse, que fosse barato e que me ficasse bem. Experimentei imensos modelos, mas nunca gostei de me ver com nenhum. A semana passada, numa vista rápida pelos saldos online, vi este modelo e achei muito giro. Por 6€ decidi arriscar e ainda bem! Gostei imenso e são super confortáveis e bem mais frescos que umas skinny jeans. E vocês, o que acham? Não tenham medo de experimentar, o que às vezes pensamos que não nos fica bem acaba por se tornar uma das nossas peças preferidas do armário. Espero que gostem e tenham um bom dia! Beijos

I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone (aka jeans + tee combination) more often and bet on different pieces that, at first sight, wouldn't work that good but instead they actually do. It's the case of these culottes. I searched over half year for a model I like, that's cheap and that fit me. I tried on so many models and didn't like any of them. Last week, during a last minute view over the last online sales I found this model and I thought they we're pretty cool. So for 6€ I just decided to take the chance and I'm glad I did! I like them very much and they're super comfortable and way more fresh than a pair of skinny jeans. What do you think? Não sabem o quão difícil foi fotografar este look. Tentamos três sítios diferentes antes de realmente achar que era o que queria. Ou era o sítio que não tinha nada a ver ou a luz que não ficava como queria de maneira nenhuma... enfim, já estava prestes a desistir! Entretanto fizemos uma pausa para lanchar e fazer umas comprinhas e acho que era mesmo disso que precisávamos! Depois disso as coisas começaram a correr melhor. Por isso estão a ver, nem sempre é fácil fotografar, muitas vezes as coisas simplesmente não correm como planeado e a frustração nesses casos é muita. Blogger também sofre! :P espero que gostem do look e tenham um bom dia! Beijos 

You have no idea how hard was to shoot these pictures. We tried three different locations before I actually liked the result of it. The places didn't make sense, the color wasn't as I wanted it... anyway, I was almost giving up! In the meanwhile we decided to stop a bit to grab some food and do some shopping and I think that's what we really needed! After that things just started to work out very well. So you can see it's not always easy to shoot, sometimes things just don't work as we planned and it's very frustrating. Hope you like the look and have a nice day! Kisses

HOME MADE BRUNCH

Sou mega fã de brunches para o fim-de-semana, seja sábado ou domingo. Como é impossível ir sempre fora, decidi experimentar e fazer um em casa. Correu super bem, estava tudo delicioso e todos ficaram satisfeitos! Portanto, como podem ver nas imagens acima, o menu foi: sumo de laranja natural e cappuccino, ovos mexidos com bacon, panquecas com amoras, iogurte natural com pêssego e sementes de chia e sésamo e uma saladinha com alface, cogumelos, pimentos e mozzarella. Sem dúvida que fiquei mega fã desta opção caseira e vou repetir mais vezes! Alguma vez fizeram um brunch caseiro? Têm de experimentar! Espero que gostem e tenham uma boa semana! Beijos 

I'm a big fan of brunches during the weekend, but it's impossible to go out everytime so I just thought it will be cool to do a home made one and that's what I did Saturday! It was great, everything was so delicious and everyone was satisfied! So as you can see on the pictures above, the menu was: orange juice and cappuccino, scrambled eggs with bacon. pancakes with blackberries, yogurt with peach, sesame and chia seeds and salad with lettuce, mushrooms, peppers and mozzarella. This is definitely a very great option to do and I'm gonna do it more times for sure! Did you ever did a home made brunch? You have to try it! Hope you like it and have a nice week! Kisses

FRIDAY MOODBOARD

Já em completo weekend mode, a pensar no descanso. Queria aproveitar para apanhar um sol, nem que seja no terraço - estou demasiado pálida! E vocês, quais são os vossos planos? Amanhã à tarde vou trabalhar um pouco para o blog, mas também sou capaz de ir dar uma volta aos últimos saldos, costumam ser os melhores! De volta aos meus conjuntos preferidos de sempre: jeans + tee + sneakers. Para mim é a melhor combinação possível para o dia-a-dia em que só queremos descomplicar. Esta é a base dos meus looks diários, pelo menos para já. Assim que o tempo mais fresco vier é começar a usar a minha fórmula favorita: camadas. Back to my all time favourite outfits: jeans + tee + sneakers. Perfect combo, if you ask me, specially to uncomplicate during week time. This is the combo base of my daily outfits, at least while we have heat. As soon as colder weather arrives I'll just start to wear my fave formula: layers.
