LONDON DIARY | DAY III

No nosso terceiro dia - Sábado - fomos logo de manhã para Notting Hill. Já sabíamos que íamos adorar esta zona: as casas são um sonho, a vizinhança parece ser super calma, há imensas lojas e cafés... Escolhemos este dia também por causa do Portobello Market, cheio de bancas de fruta, crepes com Nutella, artigos vintage e lembranças. Acabamos por almoçar por lá e depois seguimos diretas para King's Cross & St. Pancra's. Claro que tive de ir visitar a famosa plataforma, sendo eu fã de Harry Potter, e não fazia ideia que havia também uma loja inteiramente dedicada ao tema - rendi-me! Após isso apanhamos o metro para Piccadilly e andamos até Covent Garden - outro sítio que eu adorei, bem ao estilo de Carnaby, na minha opinião. Passamos ainda por Chinatown e Soho, sem esquecer o M&M's World, que é um mundo de chocolate e diversão! Espero que gostem xx 

On our 3rd day - Saturday - we went to Notting Hill in the morning. We knew we were going to love it, I mean: the houses are a dream, the neighborhood seems very calm, there are plenty of stores and coffee places... We chosed this day also because of the Portobello Market, full of stands with fruit, Nutella crepes, vintage stuff and souvenirs. We ended up having lunch there and then we went straight to King's Cross & St. Pancra's. Obviously I had to see with my own eyes the famous platform, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, and I didn't knew there was also a store of it there, so of course I lost myself there! After that we took the underground to Piccadilly and walked to Covent Garden - another place I love, very similar with Carnaby, in my oppinion. We also went to Chinatown and Soho, without forgetting M&M's World, a funny chocolate dream! Hope you like it xx

Nem acredito que já passou uma semana desde que voltamos de Londres! Parece que foi ontem e ainda tenho tanto para partilhar com vocês, espero que ainda não estejam saturados! :P no nosso terceiro dia fomos logo de manhã a Notting Hill e este foi o look escolhido. Era para usar com sapatos pretos, mas tive de pôr o conforto em primeiro lugar. De qualquer forma, adorei e senti-me super bem nele! Este sítio é maravilhoso: cheio de casas em cores pastel, com portas e flores super giras. É super calmo, exceto pelo Portobello Market aos Sábados, e por isso foi super tranquilo fotografar por lá. Espero que gostem xx 

I can't believe it's already a week ago that we came back from our trip! It seems like yesterday and I still have so much to share with you guys, I hope you're not over London pictures yet :P on our 3rd day there we went to Notting Hill in the morning and this was the outfit. It was supposed to be with black shoes, but I had to put comfort over everything else. Anyway, I love it and it felt very good! This place is wonderful: full of candy color houses with cute doors and plants. It's super calm, except on Saturdays because of the Portobello Market, so it was all good to shoot there. Hope you like it xx

MADAME TUSSAUDS

Como não podia deixar de ser, fomos visitar o Museu Madame Tussauds. É paragem obrigatória, especialmente caso seja a vossa primeira vez em Londres! De museus foi o único a que fomos, mas foi super divertido. Aconselho-vos a irem de manhã, para evitar demasiada fila, ainda que seja impossível não haver nenhuma. Lá dentro é um mundo e é uma confusão de gente! Todos querem tirar fotos ao mesmo tempo com a mesma figura! Cuidado para não confundirem as figuras de cera com as pessoas reais :P 

Obviously that we couldn't miss Madame Tussauds, it's mandatory when in London, specially if it's your first time there! We only saw this museum, but it was super funny. I advise you to go in the morning, to avoid big crowds. Inside it's a world for itself, there's too much people wanting to take pictures with the same 'person'. Watch out, don't mistake real people with the figures :P

Esta é a verdadeira Madame Tussauds. Chama-se Marie Tussauds

e a primeira máscara de cera que fez foi de Voltaire.

Mais tarde, após firme reconhecimento, fundou o museu.

Fez a sua própria máscara de cera, que se encontra à entrada. (+INFO) 

Did you know...

This is the true Madame Tussauds. Her name is Marie Tussauds and

the first wax mask she made was Voltaire.

Later, with lots of recognition, she founded the museum.

She made her own mask that's on the entry. (+INFO)
